Dave Pearson - Modern Artist 

For me creativity sprang from mental illness. In my late 50s my mother's lingering death drove me to anxiety and despair. I turned to sculpture as a way of first drowning out and then dealing with the trauma. I now want to use sculpture to help others explore their inner world, and hopefully give them an opportunity to discuss it with someone they trust.
